27.5er Carbon Boost Wheelset 35/40mm Width ^Sale

Boost wheels, especially with big plus-sized rims are meant to be heavy. Thankfully we didn’t follow the rulebook and decided to create light but strong carbon fiber boost wheels. To make sure you can get the ones that are correct for your bike and tires we offer them in 35mm and 40mm rim widths.

Boost is amazing. It allows you to run big wheels but without the negatives of running big wheels. 650b wheels have always been less stiff than 26” wheels. This loss of stiffness is because of the change of angle your spokes have to take in a larger wheel. The easiest way to alter the angle of spokes and build a stiffer wheelset was to widen hubs, and that is precisely what boost spacing did. Front wheels went from 100mm to 110mm and rear wheels from 142mm to 148mm. This though would be nothing without a stiff rim.

To make sure our wheels are some of the stiffest out there we built them from Toray T700 carbon fiber. Using Toray fibers has allowed us to go stiff but without increasing weight. We could then give you the best of all worlds, stiff and light wheels. To make them as practical as possible, we have also made sure that they are tubeless ready.
